David Purves – Owner & Director

This was regarding installing my own sourced EV charger onto old electric wiring and not a straight forward installation. Work was to a high standard with good communication highly recommend.

David and Will from DP Electrical Specialists installed my EV charger, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service.

From the very beginning, the communication was excellent and they made the whole process incredibly simple and straightforward. The quality of their work was absolutely brilliant, and they were professional from start to finish.

I would definitely recommend David and Will to anyone looking for a reliable and professional team. I’m already looking forward to having my solar batteries installed by these guys too!

Thanks again, David and Will!

Excellent from beginning to end! All questions answered in understandable terms. Everyone employed on the project (solar panels and EV charger) was industrious, polite, and considerate of our property. We are delighted with the end result. We can't recommend DP Electrical Specialists highly enough.

Booked these for a full house rewire which is always daunting. Tony and James did a fantastic job with it and out the worries to bed, From the start you could tell the banks of experience the guys had, reliable and clearly knew their stuff. Couldn’t be happier with the work. Highly recommended!

Helpful, reliable, efficient, and reasonable prices.

We have used DP Electrical Specialists for our EICRs, upgrades and rewiring works for several years now and have always been extremely happy with the service provided. They consistently maintain a high standard of workmanship, complete the work efficiently and are always professional and reliable. We would highly recommend David and his team to anyone looking for a quality electrical contractor.

We would like to say a huge thank you to you for dealing with our electrical emergency. We called you on 26th August on the back of our electric hot water tank had stopped working and we had no hot water as we are an all-electric household. Over the phone we believed it the hot water tank controller had stopped working, you arrived two hours later with a new hot water controller ready to fit, only for you to advise us it wasn’t the controller; it was in fact a poorly fitted electrical wiring and fuse in the main fuse box, as we were discussing the actual fault the main fuse board started smoking in front of us. Within three hours you and one of your team completely swapped out the old main fused board and replaced with a new latest spec metal fuse board with new fuses and the latest fire suppressant fitting. Thank you again for your swift attendance, your detailed diagnostics of the actual issue and the rapid work you in bring back our hot water. We are very grateful to you and the team

David planned sourced and fitted a full solar and battery system at our home. David is, as the company suggests, a very professional specialist. He makes solutions for any issues. He sources quality equipment and makes applications and provides all required documents. Everyone was pleasant clean and professional throughout the fitting. Special mention to his apprentice ( no name, my fault! ). Who did the dirty jobs in the loft. After finishing David monitored the system and returned to tweek it. You can have confidence in this company. Thank you all for your help.
